Overview: An old scientist left alone in the gated territory of an astrophysical observatory, located high in the South Caucasian mountains, fights against apocalypse to preserve the knowledge of previous generations, for the sake of his own granddaughter who is the only other survivor of great pollution caused by an unknown meteor. An old man and his granddaughter are the only survivors for their knowledge, living alone on an non-polluted island of the Georgian Mountains. At a great risk to his health the grandfather travels to polluted areas to gather supplies and pass all the knowledge on, necessary for the child's survival.
